The first appointment establishes the medical basis for diagnostics, treatment planning and follow-up. Its scope and focus depend on your concerns and the findings from the consultation and examination.
What has changed? Which symptoms, findings, previous treatments or earlier attempts are relevant?
Pre-existing conditions, current medication, available laboratory values and relevant factors from daily life, sleep, stress and physical activity are taken into account.
Dr Pees explains which questions have already been answered, where further investigation may be useful and which clinical limitations need to be considered.
Where there is a clear indication, the treatment, necessary preparation and follow-up are defined. If further diagnostics are required, they are completed before treatment begins.
Dr Michael Pees studied medicine in Heidelberg and was recognised as a specialist in surgery in 1993. From the 1990s onwards, he spent more than three decades in senior medical roles in aesthetic surgery, including at Proaesthetic Heidelberg, Augusta Beauty Clinic Mannheim and later Bergman Clinics in Heidelberg.
At Bodywise, he applies this experience to weight and metabolic health, preventive medicine and aesthetic medicine. He personally provides consultations, examinations, medical indications and outpatient treatments.
